OfflineGuys I know this is a long shot and I dont have any serial numbers but…..
Back in the 50’s dad bought his first 22. It was an 1890 with an octagon barrel I think i remember it as 22short,long and LR, he bought it in Tucson az and brought it home on the bus. When he graduated from Tucson high him and his buddies joined the USAF where he was a machinist , while is the USAF he took his 1890 and carved the stock. Fast forward me in kindergarten i was looking at dads gun with him and he sold me that 22 for a quarter that I didnt have but i shined his boots for a quarter lol ( I know this is long ) A few years later our house was robbed and of course that gun was taken. Every since I was old enought to go to gun shows and such I have been looking for that firearm so I thought I might just check on here. I am 64 now and know that gun is long gone and probably rusted out somewhere but you never know.
