Trying to see if this is mismatched gun or refinished? Looks like maybe 19911 or 1912?

Not sure if grooved forearm is correct for this time period? Thanks for any help with value, trying to determine if it is worth purchasing.

Hi Randy,

To me, the gun looks reblued–especially in photo #3 where the serial numbers look filled in and not sharp as they should be. I would hold out and find out what the experts on this forum think. Always a good idea to post pic’s here and get opinions before purchasing–a great perk of being a WACA member!

Randy,

Don is correct… it has been totally refinished. If you are buying it as a shooter, $350. If you are looking at it as a “collectable” Winchester… it isn’t.
