My friend put his Winchester 9422, B.S.A. Eagle Scout Rifle, serial number #10, in the Gunrunner Auction, Lot #9.
One of only 1000 mfg. as these are a little hard to find. Walnut display, w/blue velvet lined cases, are very attractive.
I also noticed a couple nice Winchester 9422 other rifles at Auction, including a Boy Scout rifle, in the 8000, serial range as 15,000, were mfg. in these.

You’re more than welcome.
One hour left and it’s at $4,150.00, as they usually go between $5-6,000.00
I haven’t seen them go over $8500.00, as speculation had them hitting, $10,000, when they we’re at their top!
With real Gold plating on the rifle it makes them a little more attractive to Eagle Scouts as well as Investor’s!
Being a commemorative it will always have it’s limitations to many of us collectors.

I’m curious to know if anyone here bid on the Eagle Scout #10, at Gun Runner Auction?
As a former Eagle Scout and with #375 in a Matched set,(Eagle#375, and the Boy Scout, #375), Fact; The factory never put together matched sets!
all shipping boxes and with everything else that goes with it,(paper work, Crystal, etc…….., Walnut Display Case), I have enjoyed mine, on Display immensely! I was able to present my Nephew, Current Lieutenant Colonel, U.S. Army,) when he was a teenager and earned his Eagle scout award, with a Winchester Eagle Scout, Commemorative rifle, through his father, my brother in law, CWO5, U.S. Marine Corps, in San Antonio, Texas. Some years ago! It was fun sharing information and educating many former Eagle scouts who had earned the Badge and never knew about the rifle.

I love 9422’s. They are so well made. Very fun to shoot. My favorite of the post 63 guns. Them and the SX1.

I can agree with you Mike, as the 9422’s are a lot of fun. whether shooting and or collecting!

I have a 2 LR Trapper. Bought it years ago and paid a whopping $700 shipped for it. No box or papers, but I will get over it. It was near mint, and still is. I put one of those aftermarket saddle rings on it and a large loop lever. Took the lever off, and I lost it. Anyway, they are fun to shoot and very accurate, even with a 16″ bbl. Mine has the checkered stock. Sorry, no pics. Big Larry
