This auction had 50 or so rimfire rifles, most vintage so he had obviously been collecting them for years His nephew was there and told me they shot all these guns – and that he has even more riffles than his uncle did. Do you mind elaborating on your comment? Which M47 were you referring to? I bought two M47’s, did you see both? The closest I am to being a collector (aside from buying these three rifles) is the fact I still have a Win 190 Dad gave me (used) when I was 14 yrs old! Any info or insights are greatly appreciated.

There was a 60A Target I bid on, maybe should have gone a bit higher. I plan to shoot the guns and I wanted at least one repeater so I went with the M57. I bid on a third M47, some Rem 511’s and a beauty of a 513T. If I had viewed the items offered in advance, I probably would have the 513T (within reason price-wise) and one or two of the Win’s. After reading Big Larry’s posts about how much he likes the M47’s I had to buy at least one!!
