Hello all,
While collecting data on auction rifles for my survey of the Model 61’s I often find rifles chambered for “.22 LR Shot Only” that are not described as being a counter bore variation. These rifles fall within the early CB rifles introduced by Winchester in 1940 in the +51400 serial number range. If anyone has one of the shaded serial numbered rifles PLEASE contact me or post here to clarify the bore variation. Thanks so much
Michael
