I recently aquired this because its in 22L not thinking it may not fire 22LR. However it cycles and ejects correctly with the 22LR. Im still wondering if it would be unsafe to fire with this cartridge. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If it cycles and ejects properly, it is not unsafe.

Not unsafe but it will not be particularly accurate with the LR since the barrel twist rate was different for the 22 Long.

You are welcome. They are addictive rifles and CCI .22 Long is readily available for not much more than .22 LR.
