Just discovered I have a REM-UMC 44 WCF cartridge loaded with a wood bullet. I am going to bring to show along with a bottle of HUDSONS Astral Nitro Solvent. I think the solvent dates to circa 1915. Also I seem to remember reading about an 1876 returned to Winchester damaged in a flood which I thought belonged to Dr. Hudson. Hope someone finds these interesting. See you there
It could be!
I have found many with the wood bullet, and the rattle of BB’s behind the bullet!
Best way I know to tell, is to place you’re thumb behind the base, and the first index finger in front of the wood bullet, and hold to you’re ear, and shake gently! If you just shake it, the wood bullet can and might pop off, and the BB’s can go everywhere!
