The winner of the first ever Winchester Cup at the 16th Annual California Side by Side Society Championship & Exhibition, held May 1-4, 2025, in Coarsegold, California, is Michael Dickinson.  Mr. Dickinson is the Chairman of the Northern Chapter of the CA Side by Side Society.  He shot his Winchester 21 (one of three used during the event).  The competition is based on how many targets are broken over five days using a Winchester shotgun (sub-gauge event excluded).

Mr. Dickinson, in addition to having his name engraved on the Cup, received a one-year membership to the Winchester Arms Collectors Association, a WACA ballcap, and pin. The Winchester Cup will be part of this annual event in addition to the Parker and L.C. Smith awards. 

The Winchester Cup was developed by WACA member Pat McKean (CA). The Winchester Arms Collectors Association is pleased to have been included in this event and hope more of our members will participate in the future.  Thank you to Pat McKean and his wife Rosemary who took all the photos.
