The Springfield Armory Alliance as part of its Firearms History Seminar series and in Commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the closing of the Springfield Armory is sponsoring a program on the M14 Rifle.  The featured speaker will be Mr. Frank Iannamico author of the primary reference on the M14. He will be joined by Alex MacKenzie, Curator of the Springfield Museum, speaking on the closure of the Armory in 1968.  Both speakers will take questions after their presentations. The program is scheduled for April 28 (Sat), 1:00 PM at the Springfield Armory Museum (1 Armory Square, Springfield, MA 01105-1299.  The admissions fee is 15.00 for the general public, free to Alliance members.  Visitors to the museum can view the new exhibit on “Spoils of War: Relics from the Front.  Parking and admission to the museum are free.
