Sorry, I guess this computer stuff is harder than it looks.
Huh??? It looks to me like you got it figured out.
Well I muddle thru it. The uploading of pictures gets me. Sometimes they go, sometimes not. Think it has do with the size and that’s where I run into trouble. Havent mastered that yet.

What I do is open up each photo in Paint and resize it to 50% and then save it before uploading any of the photos. This solves the size problem.

Nice job on the pic, oldcrankyyankee; something to look at, indeed! You’ve helped me reach my WACA RDA of eye candy, thanks!

Tom, before you post a picture right click on it and open the Properties which is usually the last selection. This will show the file size. Then resize it if you have to. Or when sending multiple pictures you may have to send a couple at a time instead of all at once.
Nice bunch of 86’s.

Here you go Mike – one of each model made in the 19th century.
Great guns Burt. You need an 1893 and an 1897. I would include a Henry too but that is just me. I’m only missing the 1897 but my guns are far from being as nice as yours.

In addition to adding a Model 1893 and Model 1897, Burt also needs a Model 1890 … three more of JMB’s wonderful creations!!

The disease will consume you if you let it – like a cancer that just won’t stop spreading. When I had 65 Winchester levers I could not even find a particular gun when I wanted to – I was thinking about this the other day when Big Larry noted he had over 200 guns – I would not have the room or the organizational skills for that many. I have concluded that it is best for a collection to have a theme rather than just having a bunch of Winchesters. A good theme would be to collect all the John Browning designed guns. Here’s the 94 family – top is 94 in 32-40, middle is 55 in 30 cal and bottom is 64 in 219 zipper – they don’t make them like this anymore and guns like these are rapidly disappearing as they are being tucked away in collections.

Bert, forgot that one. Good catch.
Kind of hard to forget it… you just recently posted a picture of three very nice specimens!!
Well, that’s my brain lately. The 3 I posted are all second models so not antique but I had a handful of antiques. Still have 1. I also just realized I left out the Hotchkiss and the Lee. After I filled all the lever actions slots I had to get these. They fill 2 slots at once, antique and military.
As most of you know I have one open slot, an antique 1897. Found one in Vegas but don’t want to spend $23,000.

That’s exactly how I got started. I wanted the 1892 first but found an 1897 then a 1892 at the same show in Vegas many years ago. If I were rich my next gun would be a Volcanic rifle. The Volcanic and the Henry both have the Winchester connection. Now, after many years of collecting, I have a fondness for the pre Browning guns. These guns were made in an era that most interests me. I have more pistols than I do rifles. I have been looking for a square back trigger guard Dragoon I can afford. Any Colt before this is way too expensive.

Thanks, Burt! Made my day complete. I dare say a nicer group of Winchester CF rifles of that era would be tough to find. 1887 is a nice touch, still haven’t seen another as nice as this one.

I’m starting to see the merit of focusing on JMB designs but will not adhere to that restriction for .22’s as I feel T. C. Johnson et al designed some mighty fine .22’s!
