Like I said it,s rainy here today and not doin, much. So here,s a couple more odd ball things in my display cases. A winchester hockey stick in exc. shape, marked Winchester store on 1 side and Ottawa Canada on the other. i have to wonder about the history of that one. Also a Winchester man,s bicycle red ad cream in exc, cond, This bicycle was purchased in Yakima Wa. for a young lad who was a paper boy,by his parents in 1930,s. The young fellow went overseas in the 2ndw.w. and never returned. The bike was hung in the garage and not used again. I purchesed the bike from the neighbor complete with Yakima 1939 lic. tag and the rear paper rack. Kind of a sad story but a touching reminder of the effect of war on everyday folks. I have a kids steel wagon in red and white withthe sliding rack its in fine shape and has all 4 hub caps. I have a lot of Win. stuff like this and a lot of pocket knives. Something I would like to find though is a Win. tin referee,s whistle and a table top radio. So ,nuff said for now, this is a great site. Henry
