Sold one gun and a ton of smalls. Grips, boxed ammo, a couple reloading tools, etc. Brought home an early raised thumbprint ’73 Winchester rifle. Excellent condition overall, bright blue with perfect bore and set trigger. Shipped in July of 1874. Also a 1936 production model 71 deluxe. Very high condition, near perfect in and out. Bolt peep factory swivels and sling. Can’t wait to shoot it. Best part was visiting with old friends. Always a plus, in my book.
Well, if you really want to know, I could not find a Winchester Model 56 on ANY table so I brought home a Stevens Model 416 military marked .22 training rifle. Yes, I said the “S” word, I also collect U.S. military .22 training rifles in my secret non-Winchester life.
The show was phenomenal again this year but a bit light on the most obscure Winchester .22 models for some reason, although Seewin had a Winchester Model 59 .22 (which sold quickly) on his table. I attribute the decrease in the .22 selection to it being the 50th anniversary and everyone bringing the best eye-candy they could since every table was indeed filled to capacity with fantastical Winchesters. Rick H. was selling (and sold) a VERY nice Henry rifle on the table next to me which he quickly pointed out was a “rimfire” and up my alley but it went (cheap) to a buyer with more greenbacks than I.
It was great seeing familiar faces and meeting new members, I am already booking next year’s accommodations.

Well it seems another great show as always and lots of happy collectors returning home with hardware. 2024 show was my first but cut short due to illness also missing out visiting Little Big Horn so going to try again for 2026. Don’t want to miss the WACA meeting & meal either! 😊

Rick C.,
I too am trying to put, Cody, into the schedule now, to try to make 2026’s show! I sure do enjoy reading all of the post’s that members have put up!
So Rick Hill,
It sounds like you we’re successful in you’re sale? That sure was a nice Henry, that you posted!

Tony, next year we have a cruise booked out of NY in Apl, Nashville trip in May, and bike week in NH in June, so Cody in July is looking good. We stayed at the Irma in 2024 and plan to do the same next year. Love the history there!

I had to stay away from that table, those “starlite mints”were very tempting and I still have most of My teeth.
It was good to see you, Harry. I was wondering where they all went.
Good score on that 32″ 1894, that made up for your 1890 not being there.
Mike
Ya, Y’all can blame me for the disappearance of those peppermint suckers. Bad things to put out next to some really excellent rifles! If I come out again I’ll be sure bring a bag to replace them, Hmmm, that gives me pause to ask the missus if I could go again, you know dept repayment sorta thing.
