OfflineIn speaking with Rob Kasaab last evening, while ordering his and Brad’s 1895 Book, he informed me of the unfortunate and sad news of Jr. Stewart’s passing.
Naturally, it struck a nerve with me, as I met Jr, at an OGCA/WACA shoe some years ago at the IX Center along with his close friend Rob, and many other extremely intelligent and informative Winchester Collectors.
If you never met Jr, or had a chance to speak with him, he was truly a Gentleman in every aspect! An extremely kind demeanor, and soft spoken man with a passion for collecting the highly sought after M-1886 Rifle. Kind enough to share his advice on the subject as many other members are, he just had a way about him, that I will remember and treasure forever.
RIP Jr! God Speed!

OfflineIt’s been a tough week, thinking about the loss of our friend, Junior. As Pat accurately described him, he was a fine gentleman that we admired and respected. They say you don’t forget how someone makes you feel, and Junior had a way of giving you all of his attention, while generously sharing his knowledge, kindness, and faith. I will miss his invocation prayers at the beginning of the Cody banquets and that great smile of his that Tom also mentioned.
To Junior I say …….. well done, faithful servant …. we will miss you!

OfflineSo sad: Junior is one of those great gentlemen I’ve had the privleage of having met through the firearms fraternity, He invited Me to share a table with Him at the Louisville gun show a number of years back and ended up selling Me a very nice ’94. He was always very helpful when ever I would call looking for some special piece. Junior , You will be sadly missed. Safe journey.

OfflineSad to hear of Jr’s. passing. I knew him only marginally from the Cody show. A close friend of mine bought several Winchesters from Junior, and I remember how honest and sincere he was with his dealings. We need a lot more folks like Jr. Stewart in the Winchester community!
