That’s quite the trifecta, congratulations!
Ummmm….what’s next?
Hi Larry, does your model 1900 have ‘WINCHESTER’ relief carved on the butt end?
Those boys rifles in good condition are harder to find than deluxe lever guns. Whenever i see one i can picture a kid on Christmas morning with a big smile on his face. Very nice.

No, it is a first model, and according to our resident 22 expert, the plain ones may be the scarcest. I think the books may be wrong on the Winchester marked butts. It also has no M1900 markings on it. Outside it is really nice, but the bore is non existent. No proofs either. I think all M1900’s had no proof marks as they were discontinued in 1902. Next up, a M1903 or M1904. Saving a 22 M1873 for last. Yes, real nice specimens are extremely hard to find. Pretty much you have to take what you can find. I have a M56 in 22 short and those are much rarer, but I did find a 98% rifle on Gun Broker. Sometimes we get lucky. Thanks, Big Larry

Any range reports yet? I Think when (if?) I grow up I want to collect Winchester .22’s. You guys have all the fun!

Hey Big Larry you need a model 58 also to go with those three. I love these small .22s also. You have a nice trio there. Michael
Hi Michael. I already have a very nice M58. A M59, a M60-A sporter and two of the nicest M60-A targets I have ever seen. One has the very elusive Kerr sling. I love the 22 series although I have some nice lever guns too. The hardest 22 I found was the Thumb Trigger and the very scarce M1900. My favorite 22 is my M56 in 22 short. Really a nice one too. Just bought this M47 target. Bought it for the wood.
