Well, I broke down and and had to buy Rusty’s beautiful 94/95 carbine serial# 1025460 with the pinned front sight.  I already had serial# 1032290 with the dovetailed front sight.  Both carbines are in near identical condition (I would say 90%+) and sure look like they belong together.  My dad has serial# 1032618 with the 22-inch barrel with the pinned front sight and rifle butt stock.  So between the two of us we now have 3 of the 4 configurations.  The hunt continues for the type 4 with the 22-inch barrel and dovetailed front sight.  Here’s a few photos of my type 1 and type 2 94/95’s:

That’s a very nice set you have. Now you just need to find the fourth variation, then grab your Dad and his carbine, and show up at Cody next year with a 94/95 hybrid display! See you then ……..

Thanks Gary.  That would make a great display.  I hope to get to the Cody show in the near future.

I know I would enjoy seeing that display.  I’ve been drawn to these carbines ever since I first heard about them.
