Hi I bought my 1894 32-40 a few weeks back and thought I would post a few picks of her(finally found the camera). The bore is still shiny with strong rifling but with a few scattered light pits. I haven’t had a chance to fire her off at some targets to see how it groups but it does knock down the Rams at 200 meters, I have loaded up some 170gn lead bullets with 15 grains of 2400.I have always wanted to get myself an old 32-40,I knew the brass was very hard to get so two years ago I saw two hundred unprimed Winchester cases at a gun shop and promptly bought them (The first lot I have ever seen in all my years of looking),so now I have a chance to use them.I removed the forend and the barrel underneath is marked C.N.S so I have the good nickle steel barrel, I will only be shooting lead through this old girl anyway.
Enjoy, regards Dallas in Brisbane Australia

Very nice rifle. I especially like the full octagon barrel with the button mag.

Very Nice. A hard to find configuration in 32-40.

Yes, great looking gun in a great caliber. You don’t see a lot of full octagons with a button mag. Enjoy that rifle!
