new to the 1876 product line.

have a potential purchase on an 1876 rifle ser. no. 25289?

curious about the original sights.

was wondering what the records might say.

Can’t help with any details right now other than that 1876 was from the year 1882. Have sent s/n to Cody and will get back with you when I hear from them.

This is the time to join the Cody museum. You can check a gun before you buy it to see if its right. One bad gun deal and you paid for many years of the membership.

s/n 25289 Rifle, 45/60, Octagon, 26 inches, plain trigger, in warehouse August 16, 1882 ?? , shipped August 15, 1882, order # 34225 with what looks like 5 other rifles of same specs.
