I have a Winchester Model 1906 that is good working order EXCEPT that it will take 1 LR cartridge in the tube & will work all day long. Put 2 or more in & it won’t load the cartridges. I’ve gone over it carefully per the instructions and replaced the inner magazine tube. No joy.
Any suggestions???
Thanks,
Jim

The Cartridge Stop is there. Unable to attach JPG or PNG images. I can send images to you via email or FB if you wish. Ejection works fine.

Thanks!

I have what seems is the same issue. After carefully examining the rifle I replaced the cartridge stop and carrier lever spring. No help. So after examining the throat of the barrel chamber I come to the conclusion there is too much erosion there to allow the extractor to pick up the expended shell and eject properly.
The only fix would be to replace the barrel. Unfortunately it is a 1907 made in 1907 and loads shorts only. Numrich carries the .22S/L/LR
