Anyone here know if an early gun that came with the “V” carrier spring can accept and function with a later magazine assembly that has the coil type carrier spring?

Do we have anyone in NorCal (Roseville/Folsom) that trades in these guns and their parts? How about at the Reno Gun Show? I have been all over the google search and none of the usual suspects has much in the way of these parts.

And finally, The Holy Grail, anyone have a magazine assembly complete in 30gov (aka 30-40 Krag) size they would be willing to part with?
