I am in need of a screw set for a 1901 DOM, 1892, 32-20 for the receiver both sides, and upper and lower tang. Anyone know of the best place to buy these? Help is appreciated. Peter

You can get these at homesteadparts.com but they will have the narrow screw slots typical of screws made in china and Europe.

I think Jim Grueter makes these too. I don’t have a number for him but an internet search might turn it up.

Thanks for the help guys. I would like some of Jim Grueter’s screws, but see the web page he used to have is no more. Anyone have his # or know if he still does it? The last time I bought Homestead screws there were machine circles around the heads that had to go before I would put them on a gun. Peter

Also, what screws on the receiver and upper and lower tang on this 1901, 1892 were blued and which were case colored? I am thinking all receiver screws were CC and the upper and lower tang screws were blued. Thanks, Peter

If it is of help, I expect Jim Grueter to be at Cody in a couple of weeks. If you are going, then is a good time to stock up on screws for our Winchesters.
