The lever on my 1887 shotgun won’t stay up like it should unless the hammer is pulled all the way back and locked in position. The lever stays up when ready to fire.
If the hammer is all the way forward at rest, the lever hangs down an inch or so.
Obviously, some internal part is not working properly.
Any idea what part might be bad?
