I am restoring a Model 64 Deluxe which were originally supplied with facilities for slings which the standard rifle was not. I have been unable to establish whether the deluxe variations were supplied with the bases only (no sling loop) with the intent to use quick disconnect loop connectors or were they supplied with loops in place. Can anyone answer this question?

Tom,
The Model 64 Deer Rifle (a.k.a. “deluxe”) was equipped with both sling bases and QD sling mounts. The QD sling mounts were not attached to the rifle, but were packaged in the shipping box. What is the serial number and caliber of the Deer Rifle you are restoring?
