Mark Novak at 28:00 in this Anvil Video shows a special wrench to turn the forend cap when doing some work on a Model 12’s slide. I want to work on the slide on my M12 and was wondering if anyone here has one of these wrenches (or something they’ve repurposed for this that they know to work) and would be willing to lend me one for a surity payment (I get my payment back sans your shipping when I return the wrench). I apologize for being a totally new member on here with no reputation but don’t know where else to turn. I don’t see any such wrench on eBay or elsewhere.

BG213, Its been a LOOOONG time, but Brownells used to sell these and they were cheap enough to be well worth the cost for even one project. Check with them and I bet they still offer the forend wrench. Tim

I just bought one of these a few weeks ago, I made one several years back and couldn’t locate it………… This works fine and is for the 870 Rem. also. Can’t beat the price!
