That Williams sight pusher is for ramped front sights.  Can’t see how it would work on a rear sight round or octagon barrel.

I have one and have looked at in many times wishing as it would be useful when adjusting windage.

How ’bout this?

VERY cheap compared to any other arbor press I’ve seen for sale.

That may work Clarence.  I will go buy one when a Harbor Freight opens back up near me.  Maybe I’ll just see if I can get one online?  I have a repo Henry sight I want to put on my 66 until I can find a real one.  Non Henry collectors and many Henry owners can’t tell the difference. There were a lot of repos made but most have at least 1 error.

Both of these are repos.

Do you have a machinist’s vise?  Some way is needed to prevent the barrel from rolling when pressure is applied with the press.  Or maybe have someone else hold the gun while you operate the press.

Clarence, I will make a wooden jig.  Just ordered the press.  Will update when I have tried it.

To clarify the direction – looking at the muzzle end, remove rear sight to the right?

Winchester 94 manufactured 1954, 30-30.

Thanks!

Bruce, if you are aiming the gun, the sight comes out the right side. T/R
