Are there any non destructive ways of getting dents out of magazine tubes?  Would prefer not to replace or refinish

I call myself a collector as it sounds better than hoarder

Have a mandrel turned to a close slip-fit, one end slightly rounded or tapered.  Tap gently around the edges of the dent with a brass hammer.  Dent should gradually flatten out, though some trace of it may remain.
