Not sure if this was posted before, as many of us are fans of Mark’s great work, and knowledgeable explanations, etc………..

A lot of very good stuff here explained that can be used by many, as I certainly will!

That was fun to watch, especially the shooting. I have a Uberti 76 Presidio in 50/95 that will be as close to a 50/110 I’ll ever get, and its a blast to shoot, BP or smokeless.

Thank you for a most interesting and instructive tutorial on gunsmithing that old 50-110.  Wish I could have been there to fire that beautiful old 1886, as I have never shot one in that caliber.

Wonderful video!  I always find it almost hypnotic to listen to Mark.  It’s like it is our version of a Zen experience.  The scenery he shows of his ranch also adds much to the experience.

I’ve had my share of M1886’s but only one in .50-110.  I traded it off around 45 years ago.  Very deep regret on that one.

I had been aware of the many modifications Winchester had to make to make the .50 caliber round feed through the action. It would have been fun to be a fly on the wall at the factory during that period as they worked through the process of making those rounds feed.  I suspect this is why Marlin never chambered the .50 in their M1895.

I’ve said this before, I really enjoy Mark’s videos, especially when he takes things apart.  If I take something apart I can usually get it back together.  But he teaches us the proper way and in my case, easier way.
