Here’s my latest update from gunsmithing school at Lassen College. I have some samples of the work we’ve been doing in classes on Parkerizing, Cerakoting, hardening & tempering steels and tig welding. Next week we’ll be getting into hot bluing. I’m looking forward to bluing a very rough old 1906 Winchester in that class. Mark

Very nice, Mark! Learning so much from this series. Sounds like the old Hemi is a bit cold-natured, may need a fresh battery with a few more CCA’s if you want to drive it this time of year.

Mike, Glad you are learning something and enjoying the updates. And yes, the old Mopar is a little cold blooded and hard starting. Sadly, it hasn’t been driven much in the last few years and the battery’s been sitting and getting weak. This one has the “baby hemi” 340 cid and three two barrels. Thanks a bunch for watching. Mark
Al,
Glad you’re liking the videos. I’m having a blast learning the gunsmithing trade and it’s fun to be able to share it with others. Once I’m through the school, I may make some more in depth “how-to” videos on some of the topics. Thanks for watching.
Chuck,
Too bad you don’t still have the Challenger. We could have made quite a splash at Cody this summer cruising town in a pair of blue six pack Mopars.
