If you’ve been following my videos, you probably have heard me talk about enrolling in the gunsmithing program at Lassen College in Susanville, Ca. I’ll be posting some short updates from time to time for those who may be interested in following along as I progress through the program. In this first update, I give a short tour of the machine shop and show some of the projects we are working on in the introductory machine shop class. Sorry that the audio is a little weak on this one, but I wasn’t used to competing with the background noise. When I’m filming on the ranch, I only have to compete with an occasional cow or bird.
Let me know if there is interest and I’ll continue to share them on the forum, or you can subscribe to our channel, “The Cinnabar” and follow us on YouTube.
YES! Keep them coming, great work Mark!
Best Regards,

Very interesting. Hadn’t occurred to me that gunsmiths make many of their own tools.

Great videos. Woke up this morning to a very red sunrise. I live in SoCal. The fires here are small compared to the ones in the north. We had not been affected up until today. The red sky was caused by all of the ash that is in the air. Can’t smell any smoke. Can’t imagine what you witnessed.
For sure, great job on the videos. Im also envious about your gunsmith training, wish I had the time and the equipment. Keep up the good work.
