Need butt plate for Model 42|Restoration, Repair and Maintenance|Forum|Winchester Collector

I need an original or exact duplicate of the black Winchester Repeating Arms buttplate for a Model 42 Winchester field grade. Most of the reproduction plates either don’t fit right or the holes don’t line up correctly. The stock has not been cut, the original butt plate is damaged with a chipped off toe. Also a small piece (1/2"x 1/4") of the wood chipped off the toe of the stock with the buttplate accident. Any ideas how best to fix the missing wood? Thanks.
