OfflineI recently purchased a very nice Model 1873 rifle with a special order 1/2 round-oct. barrel, 1/2 button magazine, plain trigger, and sling swivels in .44-40 caliber.
At some point in time the barrel was reblued and the barrel address and caliber markings were buffed down. The reblue was a professional job and the edges are still sharp on the barrel.
I would like to have the markings recutt so they would appear correct. Can someone recomend a qualified gunsmith capable of repairing the barrel markings.
