I have a Mod. 1894 SRC that came with an express 3-leaf sight. Gun is in great shape having been born in 1908 but it has one small problem. The center leaf is broke, my understanding is that it’s quite common for this type of sight. My question is, is there anyone out there that can repair it and replace the center leaf or do I have to go the expense and try to find an original replacement? Your help would be greatly appreciated, Clay Talbot

Probably easier to just replace it, here’s one for sale. Hard telling how high it will go as I think I’ve seen them go up around $150.

Thanks Gary, I put a Marbles semi-buckhorn on it for now so I can continue to shoot it, but want to keep it 100% original shape. I’ll check that out….I found a couple more also in that price range, so they’re out there. Thanks again and if it is repairable, I would still like to know who can do it…..Clay
