Does anyone make reproduction 1894 takedown fore ends? I have a 1902 takedown with half octagon/half round barrel that someone, sometime has done some "work" on the wood. I’d also like to know where I could find a stock with the "shotgun" butt for this rifle too. Thanks 021

A standard Forend will work, the magazine hole will need to be counter bored about an inch on the receiver end to accept the mag tube extension on the TD lug.

For wood, try Precision Gunstocks out of Kerryville, TX

I never even thought of that, just assumed it was a different fore end. That’s what you get when you "assume"! Thank you sir.

I am bringing to Tulsa/Reno a forend from a 38-55TD if needed.
