Is there anywhere on an 1892 to use heaver lube than rem-oil? If so what do you recommend and where would it go?

Thanks
Steve

Steve,

I don’t like to use Rem-oil on any gun I own. I’ve heard of rust problems with it. I use G96 for general rust protection or snake oil and if I need to oil a pivot or something that slides I use the old time "3 in one" oil. I’ve never used grease on a gun since when it dries and gets sticky or stiff with age.
