hi I have an 1890 deluxe serial # 680067 I am in search of an original stock for it with a pistol grip , I am having a hard time finding one ,can anyone out there help me find one, it was my dads and it is in great condition but missing the stock,I don’t want to sell it I want to refurbish it and use it.

Unfortunately the odds of finding an original Model 1890 pistol grip stock are not in your favor. Your best bet would be to send it to one of the known Winchester restoration specialists to have a new stock fitted and finished.

Thanks Bert ,so how would I find a Winchester restoration specialist, I remember snooping in my dad’s closet when I was little and seeing it with the stock on it with the diamond cut on the handle and thinking wow cool, so I have no idea why it was missing the but screw is there and everything just no stock.
