Bill,
I have no idea why you are receiving the notification messages. I just checked all of your profile settings, and as you stated, you are not subscribed to anything. I guess Santa just wants you to be better informed.

I hear Santa finally traded in his worn out, beater, Dodge and bought a nice, new Ford F350! Way to go Santa!
You need new hearing aids… I am still driving that old Red Sled, 402K miles on the odometer and still going strong!

Ben are you silly? Bert give up his sleigh?
I think he is smoking some of the funny smelling stuff… or is on an acid trip!

I’ve never trusted Santa ever since he came to Dallas and got too excited when little girls sat in his lap. As far as I know he may still be assisting the police with their inquiries. How did you get his picture?

OfflineMethinks some of y’all are smoking mistletoe! I like growing a beard this time of year to mess with the posers in the red suits. Some folks put up decorations and hang lights. I grow a full beard. At least I don’t drive an old worn-out Dodge! Besides, the guys at the Ford house were going to charge him too much to haul it off!

This was my Xmas photo from a few years ago…
I stop getting my beard trimmed shortly after the Cody Show each year, and let it grow out for Xmas (and the winter weather).

I have it on good authority that Bert has spent significant time in a white Ford F – 350
Quiet, more torque/HP than you need, Heated and cooled seats…
Yes he was comfortable for a time.
Just saying…

OfflineThose heated seats ARE pretty awesome for an achy back, Doug. Especially when I remember to use the remote start and they’re warming up begore I get in the car! I can’t do cooled seats, I feel like I’m sitting in a cold water puddle. I’ll bet even Bert would appreciate the SYNC and navigation features found in the newer Ford Superduty’s.

Before slinging too much mud at the venerable Cummins Dodge Ram, I seem to recall rescuing one of YOUR family members with a Found On Road Dead truck in my neck of the woods….nobody complained about getting picked up and towed to my house with MY Cummins Dodge at that time…..
Just sayin’

OnlineFull disclosure… this is my 2008 Ford E350 “Gun Show War Wagon” on Sunday morning after a wonderful breakfast at the Irma Inn at last summer’s Cody show… blew the injector seals on one of the fuel rails… made it just a little challenging to tear down after the show & load my stuff. You can see the fuel drips on the ground next to the truck. The good news was Mark Douglas came to the rescue and let me use his trailer to store my stuff overnight. My rig was fixed at an RV shop in town and I was on the road the next day…

Now Jeff… I seem to remember it as my nephew that broke down that you did rescue.
He was driving a Dirty Max. That truck has spent more time in the shop than on the road.
We have really tried to get him to upgrade, if not something with 4 letters in the name to at least a Ram/Dodge.
Your rescue was very much appreciated but lets not let the facts get in the way of a good story

OfflineI was hoping you wouldn’t remember the facts, isn’t that how history is created?

And, I do grudgingly admit that (in an alternate universe) if I could not have a Dodge, I would likely have a Ford.
Best Regards and Merry Christmas!

OfflineI miss my pickups, just not enough to start making payments. My little grocery getter is great to work out of and haul my stuff to gun shows without attracting much attention while delivering great performance and fuel mileage. And yes, it’s a Ford.
