I believe the cookie they store on your computer that keep you logged in can have a expiration day. I would assume its something the web site programmer sets. I know I have ran into this. I find if my computer at home I have to relog in, when I go to work I have to relog in the same day. I really don’t know the reason why they would need a expire date.

I think that if I am logged in on one device and then log in on another device the other device generally gets logged off. Also if I go to another site while writing a post I sometimes lose the unfinished post. I suspect they’re security or housekeeping measures and goodness knows we need those!

Why am I logged out after a certain period of time, and have to log back in? This is after checking the stay logged in box? It seems to be something like 30, 45, or 60 days.
There is a security setting that auto logs you out after I believe 30-days, even if you have the “stay logged” in option selected. Even I have to log back in after the clock expires.
