I am trying to find out information about a family areloom. I was told by local gun shop to come to this site. I guess first off how do I post or ask questions? Is there a membership? Can I send photo of serial number to get info?

Most folks just post their really good photos of the rifle to a host site (like google photos) and then share a link. You can’t post photos directly without a membership. With those and a serial number, we can tell you more than you might want to know!
