Did you join the WACA (purchase a membership), or just sign up on the WACA forums? If signed up for a WACA membership, have you received your membership number and welcome package yet?

What does the watch and subscriptions mean. Do I check the boxes in those areas or leave them unchecked?

The “Watch” and “Subscription” options are nearly identical. If you check them, you will receive an email notification every time someone adds a new post or response to the topic string.
