The Winchester Arms Collectors Association has purchased a Model 98 Signal Cannon, s/n 50, to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Cody Show.
This cannon is a limited 2024 re-release edition of the Winchester® Model 98 Breech Loading Signal Cannon. Made in the USA by Dunlap Cannon Co. it has a blued barrel machined from solid round bar mounted on a cast undercarriage and wheels. Breech parts and undercarriage are finished with a robust matching blued finish, chambered for 2 7/8 in. 10-gauge blanks. It comes in a Winchester® engraved wood storage box serialized to match the cannon. Also included is a Letter of Authenticity and one box of 10-gauge blanks (value $120) included. The MSRP is $3,499.
The drawing will take place at the 50th Anniversary of the Cody Show on July 13, 2025. Winner does not need to be present to win. US participation only. Ticket sales are limited as only 1,000 tickets have been printed. Tickets are $20 each.
