					                        <description><![CDATA[<p>I have a Type 1 (no dash marks) Action Slide Bar for a Sold Frame Winchester 1897. In the picture it's the one on the top.</p>
<p>I know they're hard to come by, but it as bought it by mistake and doesn't do me any good to keep it.</p>

					                        <description><![CDATA[<p>Rifle has not arrived yet for me to evaluate in person... sadly, I leave early tomorrow for Reno, so it will be another 10 days until I get to inspect it.  I will send pics of my other 5 Spot's loading port... please don't assume too much about my knowledge, I've been known to regret impulsive purchases on a regular basis.  I do try to make sure that I make enough of them to balance out the ledger in the long run.  I am comfortable with this purchase though... cheers.  Ben</p>

<p>Here's a question for you. I find it interesting that the "5-SPOT", Gallery rifle, doesn't have the triangular loading port, being a known and true Gallery rifle. We both know that the gallery rifles we're known to be of the .22 short caliber, and not all had the gallery loading port. You're thoughts on this with you're experience is important. IMO! Also any others!</p>
