Winchester Commemoratives Vol I & II

Description:
Tom Trolard’s “Winchester Commemoratives” — Volumes 1 and 2, Volume 1 signed by the author.
The essential two-volume reference set on Winchester commemorative firearms, written by Tom Trolard, the recognized authority on the subject. Volume 1 covers the commemoratives from the 1965 Wyoming Diamond Jubilee through the mid-1980s, with full-color photos of each gun, production figures, original issue prices, and the history behind every model. Volume 2 picks up where the first leaves off and carries the series forward. Together they remain the "Gold" standard library reference for collectors and investors.
Both volumes are hardcover, 183 pages each, published by Commemorative Investments Press. Volume 1 is signed by the author on the title page. Condition is very good to fine overall — clean bindings, bright color plates, dust jackets present with only minor wear. No writing or markings beyond the signature.
A signed Volume 1 is the harder piece to find, and complete sets are scarce.

Sadly, we lost the author in 2007 before he could complete the 2nd Volume. We are fortunate his wonderful daughter Susan Sanders completed Volume II in honor of her father and his legacy.

Thanks Bert! Here are a few below. The serial number is in the 1,000's.

That makes it a 1936 (second year) rifle versus a first year. With the serial number, the exact date can be determined.

Thank you for clarifying, Bert. I have updated the title to represent 1936.

You are welcome. Please send mee a PM with the full serial number so that I can include it in the research survey.

Bert
