Winchester Model 70 XTR bolt-action rifle chambered in .30-06 Springfield.
This model features a blued barrel and receiver, checkered walnut stock. Manufactured in 1978 in .30-06

Up for sale is the Unfired Winchester Model 70 XTR 30-06 Rifle Package.

Purchased this rifle new, back in 1981 to keep my other Remington .30-06 rifle company.
Purchased Leupold scope along with new Redfield Scope Base Rings & 500rds .30-06.
Unfortunately for me being a television editor, I spent too many 20 hour days in the editing rooms.
Never had the opportunity for any range time, back of the safe it went with others.
It remains Unfired and became an "old" Safe Queen rifle over the years.

Kept in minty condition .30-06 snake cleaned, property lubricated, capped in dust free safe.
Periodically checked and maintained during my "Man Cave Years" of "ooohing & aaahing" pistol/rifle handling sessions.

Metal Condition: Excellent
Wood Condition: Very Good/Excellent (Very mini minor scratches left side rear of stock)
Bore Condition: Excellent
Barrels: 25 inch
Weight: 7.5 lbs
Sights: Fixed front and rear & Leupold 3X9 Scope (Duplex Reticle)

Rifle Package comes with Accessories:
Leupold 3X9 Riflescope, Redfield Scope Base Rings, Leupold manual.
Six Winchester articles, Winchester accessory two side storage cases.
New Ederar gun case.
Two Winchester patches
