No,no, nothing like that. I have a1894 deluxe that letters with that butt plate. currently wearing a metal one that's checkered.

I am in need of a "rubber shotgun butt " plate for a Model 1894 mgf 1904. anyone? Homestead only has reproductions. would prefer original. Some wear is ok. Just not in pieces please.

FYI... that leather cover is worth about $150. to a Garand M1C collector for his WWII M82 scope... if you have the Redfield 7/8" horizontal split rings, they will bring $200 in blued and $350. in parkerized. It's the "nitch" stuff that can bring crazy money. good luck... Ben
