My suggestion to prove to your CFO your "true" intent to sell your "excess', is to attend the Cody WACA show in July... I can guarantee that at least one will sell... the unfortunate flip side, several other items may find their way to your trunk for the drive home... 🙂 ps... that's a very nice group of 71's. I'd like to buy a Winchester 34C 3-leaf express rear sight, as would have been optionally installed at the factory on a circa 1912 1894 SRC. Prefer platinum sight lines. Please no broken or missing leafs and no hammer or punch marks. Standard 3/8″ dovetail. Please send me a PM if you have one and are willing to sell.

The attached photo represents my understanding of the correct configuration & desired condition.

During my 35-year career at Leupold, I met so many wonderful people in our industry. At the time I was working, we had independent sales representatives who sold our products to distributors and large retail accounts. G.B. Stumpp Associates was our rep for our products in the north east. In one of my conversations with George, he told me that he had assisted Herb Parsons in the mid-50's for a period of time at his shooting exhibitions. Always a fan of the history of our industry, I was impressed. George told me to look for something that would arrive in the mail, and a couple of weeks later, I received a package. In the package was the Winchester/Western shirt, four Winchester target coins (one shot by Herb), and the letter you see in the photo. I have decided to pass these pieces on to someone who will enjoy them as I have. Please contact me via email $250.00

I do not believe that's a Winchester sling. Wrong brass frogs... Should look like Jeff's pictures I put above.

There were several name-brand manufacturers of leather slings back then, Brauer, Red Head, Boyt, etc. Some used the same staples, some the same frogs, some the same embossing, but none that I'm aware of used thhe exact same combination of features as Winchester.

Of course, I don't consider Winchester's slings to be of particularly high quality... I particularly don't like that they used two-rivet frogs on 1 1/4" M1907 style Target rifle slings. For actual use I prefer the three rivet milsurp slings (and commercial copies)... The Winchester slings are only interesting because they're WINCHESTER!!!

I don't believe so. While not marked, the marking may have simply wore off. I believe that is a Red Head brand sling.
