Who put you up to this?Wink After being executor of an estate or two you'd THINK someone would do the responsible thing. Both went well due to previous conversations, thoughtful wills and cooperative siblings. I've been on the fringes of two other estates that went badly and ended decades-long friendships. Quite honestly I don't think anyone wants my stuff. Instructions or suggestions for liquidating assets will in some cases be as helpful as a comprehensive will.

I just have to figure out what my wife should do with all of these things when something happens to me.........I bet many on this forum struggle with that dilemma.
  

This is something I've mulled over for years.  It would be nice if the answer was, "she will just enjoy them all as much as I did."  Sadly, for most of us, that's not in the cards.

I refuse to join that category so I've been organizing and cataloging, and condensing down, for awhile now. Not saying that I haven't added any, as I have, but getting a plan together is paramount for families. IMO! Smile
