Hello to all,

Just want to provide ad FYI update... today I reached the 35,000 guns surveyed mark in this survey! I have been working on this survey for just over 21-consecutuve years now, and I am planning to continue it for at least 5 more years, or until I reach 50,000 surveyed specimens.

At this point, I especially want to sincerely thank each and every one of you who has contributed to this survey thus far, and to encourage more of you to do so in the future.

As a result of all the data that has been compiled & documented thus far in this survey (which includes all of the Model 55 and Model 64 Rifles that were serialized in the Model 94 serial range), many new facts have emerged, several urban myths debunked, and of great importance, a much, much clearer picture of the factory production statistics for the 2,246,012 serial numbers for which there are No surviving factory ledger records now exists.

As always, I am ready to answer any questions relating to this survey.

Bert - WACA Historian

It is in fact a new addition to my data. I now have 10,510 rifles cataloged and have begun doing statistical work and building a reference website that with distill all the info I have gathered. Thanks so much for the help. I might have it up by summers end if fly fishing does not interfere too much!

The last receiver in the polishing room in 1946 was 76700. Most likely your rifle was fully assembled in early 1947.

Hi Bert,
Haven't been on the forum in a long while. Picked up an 1894 saddle ring carbine for your survey. It a .38/55, half magazine, larger style shotgun butt, hard rubber buttplate. Serial number 308788. May not be recorded yet.

It is not in the serial range for my survey... I am looking for serial numbers in the 1 - 7999, and 354000 - 2600011 ranges.
Hi Bert,
Haven't been on the forum in a long while.
