I know it should theoretically have a type 3. Could be the angle of my picture. 
’ll have to go back and verify. It’s at a local gun shop. Not mine…yet. 

Thanks, and yes, it should be a Type 3 receiver frame.

Something is not correct... 24-inch barrels were discontinued well before serial number 1389072 was manufactured.  The barrel length should be 20-inchs.

I've sent you a few things in the past, this gun doesn't fit into the parameters of this thread, but I couldn't find a general 1894 one.

This gun is an earlier one, sn 37800, 38-55, 28" hex, full length tube, crescent butt plate rifle. I'm not sure what else is important, let me know what else you need.

I recently obtained this rifle thought you may be able to use it's statistics.

Model 1895, sn 108471, 24" round barrel, 30-06, Lyman #21, standard rifle, rubber shotgun butt plate, fold up 2 leaf rear dovetail mount sight
