Okay, well then you have two Lyman-Ideal Reloading Tools then. The one I've pointed out in the photo is also a Lyman-Ideal Tool.

I'm assuming that you're talking about the tool in the top left corner of your photo. The nickel plated tool is made by Lyman-Ideal or the Ideal Reloading Tool company depending on how its marked. Based on your last description its a Lyman-Ideal manufactured tool, after the Lyman corporation bought the Ideal Reloading Tool company in 1925.

It does have somewhat of a connection to Winchester Reloading Tools but its not a Winchester tool. John Barlow used to work for Winchester and had several patents credited to him while at Winchester. He later branched off and started the Ideal Reloading Tool company. Years later Lyman purchased the company. This being about 1925. By all accounts Winchester was out of the reloading tool business by then.

Boxed sets of the Lyman-Ideal reloading tools are not all that uncommon to locate. The 25-20 R being Lyman-Ideal nomenclature for 25-20 "Repeater" a.k.a. the 25-20W.C.F. not to be confused with the 25-20S.S. The advantage the Lyman-Ideal tools do have is that the mold and reloading tool are all in one tool. Winchester always sold their tools and molds as separate items and not a combined tool item.

Sincerely,

Maverick

Here's another one that you might already have, as most it was well used, and pretty much looks like abused put away wet! Mfg in 1908, not 1907 as the listing suggests!
