For what its worth, David had six daughters, as well as one step-daughter.   
They all live in Maine except for Michelle (who lives in Ohio) and Tina, his step-daughter that lives in Texas.
So, I am still not sure where a CT connection comes into play.

I did forget that. Do you remember any of these racks being in his possession? I would think that if they were it wouldn't such a big surprise to many of us as Davis would have gotten them out there, and more would remember it. That's why I'm thinking that my memory is off a little.

Hey Don,

The daughter is in Milton, Ct but the phone # shows New Haven, Ct so perhaps a suburb? I don’t know Dads name but I just left the daughter a message asking for it and will post it once I get it. He was a member according to her. He passed almost 2 years ago I think and she said they sold all his Winchesters at Rock Island last year including a 1 of 1000 which of course she said was his pride and joy! Appreciate everyones help!

They do look nice with the ammo shelf on them.

That is what I’m wondering Chuck? One would assume with the Winchester Arms Collectors Association being listed on them, they were an approved piece but it doesn’t seem anyone here recalls them being offered. From the interest, it would also seem if WACA actually offered these someone here would have bought one and thus recall when they were offered. I guess I will call the WACA office and see if they can point me in the right direction and report back. Thanks guys!
  

I have my doubts that Heather will find any information about them, and then she will in turn ask me.  I can definitively state that they were not offered during the past 25-years.  A deep dive through the WACA Collector magazines in the years 1980 - 2000 might be illuminating.
