What are shooting it in? 

I load all of my 44 WCF cartridges with 2400 powder... a lot easier to load, and very little cleaning effort required.

I load for my 30-06 rifles with many different recipes depending on my intended targets, and yes, it can be loaded for a very wide range of purposes.  In my rifle, the 57.5 grains of IMR 4064 launches the 40-grain V-Max @3,400 fps, and yes, it is serious Coyote medicine.  It would also be great for Antelope.

If you could order 4000 like I bought, the shipping wouldn't change much and the deal would improve. 

But penny primers are gone for good. 

Still, I think there's room for prices to fall if the price of oil will get down from current highs and various friendly foreign manufacturers continue opening ammo and component factories here. And Remington Ammunition is back on line. All their component runs are still feeding their cartridge production but that will soon catch up and they should be back in the component game as they once were. Vietnam taught ammo makers not to bet the ranch on government contracts.

$.08 - $.10/primer is standard these days.  I really wish that I had bought thousands more of them when they were still just $.01/ primer.  Fortunately, I still have 15K primers in my inventory (though I did use (40) more of my Remington No. 9 ½ primers last night reloading some 30-06 Varmint loads). My next big expenditure will be an 8 lb jug of IMR 4064... at 57.5 grains per cartridge, it does not take very long to empty a 1-lb container!

I lost my best friend in 2004.  We were classmates,  hunting and camping partners for Decades. Odd thing was, I never shed a tear for him until I handed over his application for probate to the court clerk and mentioned to her how much I would miss him. That started the waterworks, to the extent it brought the judge out of his chambers. Grief is a funny thing and sometimes comes on cat feet. 
That is when I decided it didn't cost a nickel more to believe I was going to be a Centenarian, no matter how many friends fell off the twig. 
I expect to keep CCI in business until that hearse horse shows up to haul my bones away.
